use Reality and Velocity in conjunction with their own exclusive
software to create "dynamic moving image solutions to heighten
the emotion of any music/sound experience." Velocity has
been "Very, very useful, because of real-time, the effects are
instantaneous - nothing else on the market touches it."
Both of the DPS software packages are used for different purposes.
"Reality is used to capture the graphics, to trim, create
basic project timelines, and create MPEG2's for our four-channel
MPEG servers which are used on our live mix sets (clubs and
festivals). For pre-edited projects we use Velocity."
Non-Linear
Editing is one of the advantages of dpsVelocity
and is used by 2CI for pre-rendering.

2CI's
use of the systems allows the flexibility to create shows for
a vast range of markets and venues from the international club
scene, to music tours, and for use in feature productions for
example:

says. "In September 2000 Gareth Evans (our creative director)
and Suzi Karakashian (from Orphan Drift) had the pleasure of
creating graphics for Steven Spielberg's blockbuster 'A.I. (Artificial
Intelligence) '….Our graphics were used as a back drop to a
twenty-minute scene called Flesh Fair, where the industrial
rock band Ministry played to an audience of about 900 extras….
the graphics were displayed on three large LED screens on the
stage for the duration of the carnage that was shot over a two-week
period.
