Image Mine is a complete, affordable, turnkey
library solution for creating, indexing, storing and searching
video clips. The integrated modules coordinate all activities
related to your asset archive, including logging and cataloging,
searching, browsing and tracking functions.
Logging, browsing
and tracking functions operate on various workstations throughout
your organization and are supported by a relational database
engine. The minimum configuration is one TEPX Gold video logger
software and one Image Library Gold (the database). Image Track
is a LAN based software that anyone (with user permissions)
can access across your network--or install it on a single computer
for the Librarian--it's up to you.
Add as many TEPX
stations as you like to log material, contribute, or query the
database for "desktop editing". Individual user activities
can be restricted as needed with user profile permissions.
For example,
a typical configuration is to have a single "Librarian"
station with authority to contribute, but many individual logger
stations able to search and log locally without adding directly
to the database.

Want to save a bundle
on video playback decks? Add the MPEG encoding option to Image Mine
and let your producers work from their desks without an attached deck.
Centrally digitize clips and let producers log from them across the
LAN.
With TEPX Gold your
producers also can rough cut a show at their desktops. They'll be
able to augment a story with a few stock shots from the library too.
Just search Image Mine using TEPX. Build a "selects file"
by copying and pasting "hits" into any open log file. Drag
the clips into desired sequence, and output list for the editor.
They can play the archived
clip's MPEG file, change IN/OUT points as desired, and even grab a
new representative thumbnail and type in a new description.
All the logging and
output formats of TEPX are available to your producers, regardless
of the whether the clips were just logged or mixed with archived ones.
That means they can create batch digitizing lists for the editor,
print storyboards, even e-mail the shot list all without leaving their
desk.
Compatibility:
All Image Mine Gold
modules run under Windows XP & 2000. Image Track will also run
under Windows Me, NT & 98SE. Image Library requires 2000 or NT.
Image Browse-Web runs
under any web browser platform (Explorer, Netscape, etc.). MPEG-1
video clip play back may require later version web browsers.

Image Mine includes
a relational Image Library database for logging, cataloguing, tracking
and searching tape libraries and clips. Image Mine features software
based scene change detection for clip logging. This feature can be
configured to your preferred sensitivity to scene change. As logging
is taking place you can select a representative frame (this does not
have to be the first frame in a clip) while the software detects the
next frame change.
Post and production
companies will find that Image Mine is a complete media asset management
solution for logging, cataloging and searching.
You can also add LAN or Web based browsing and physical tape tracking
(bar coding) modules that are sold separately. The versatility and
